When it launches, you'll point your camera and move. The AI — trained on Tim Abeyie's elite coaching framework — will lock a live skeleton onto your body, measure every joint angle frame by frame, and fire real-time coaching cues as you run.
Built to serve our charity's coaching mission, making elite sprint analysis accessible.
The phone preview is a concept animation of the coaching view — the app itself launches in 2026.
In Development Speed For Sport AI is not yet available — it launches in 2026. Everything below previews what's coming; the phone view is a concept animation, not a live app. Register your interest to be first in line.
Set your phone side-on and step back so your whole body is in frame. The live view tells you the moment you're positioned right, no setup, no calibration.
Accelerate or run on the spot. The AI locks a live skeleton onto your body and measures knee drive, trunk lean and arm angles in real time, straight on your device, nothing uploaded or recorded.
Coaching cues fire every few seconds as you move, drawn from Tim's framework. When the session ends you get a short summary of what to work on, then re-test anytime to see it improve.
The live overlay won't give generic feedback. It will track each category individually against Tim's coaching framework, the same framework he developed across 15 years of elite competition and 25 years of coaching.
Every session is unique. Two athletes can move identically overall and have completely different strengths and weaknesses. The cues you get reflect what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all training plan.
Body angle through the drive phase, hip position, forward lean and postural stability under fatigue.
Arm path, crossover, hammer drive, shoulder-to-hip symmetry and elbow angle through the swing cycle.
Knee height through the acceleration phase, punch, recovery path and timing relative to the drive leg.
Heel vs ball contact, overreach ahead of the centre of mass and ground contact time per stride.
Stride frequency, stride length, extensor dominance and the relationship between the two across the sprint.
Left vs right balance across all mechanics. Asymmetry is one of the most common hidden causes of lost speed and injury.
A public library of elite athletes, sprinters, footballers, rugby players, each with a full technique breakdown written personally by Tim. Watch them run, study their form, then compare it against your own live session.
Breakdowns in the athlete library are written personally by Tim, not AI-generated. Each one is his coaching analysis of that athlete's technique.
Full library unlocks at launch · July 2026Behind the paid programme will sit Tim's coaching drill matrix. Every fault the live overlay flags will map automatically to the correct set of Tim's coaching videos. Not a generic training plan, a programme built specifically for what the AI tracked in your session.
Athletes with multiple issues receive a prioritised programme that addresses them in the right order. Fix the biggest limiter on your speed first.
When Speed For Sport AI launches, the plan is a free tier — a full live session, always free — so any young athlete can use it regardless of income. Optional paid programmes and subscriptions will add personalised drill plans and Tim's coaching videos, and their proceeds will help fund our free youth coaching across Yorkshire.
Final pricing will be announced at launch in 2026.
"No grassroots coach or young athlete has access to the kind of sprint analysis that professional clubs take for granted. Every serious team has video analysis. Every elite sprinter has a coach watching their technique after every session. Speed For Sport is how we change that, with my coaching framework as the foundation, and technology that puts expert analysis in anyone's pocket."
The platform launches July 2026. Register your interest now and you'll be among the first to get access when it goes live.
